After installing Fedora core 3 as an upgrade to Red Hat 9, I found that
I could not send email. I got this error message: Host lookup failed: localhost: Name or service not known The problem was that the /etc/hosts file had been changed; I added this line to fix the problem: 127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost Probably could use something more secure. |
